Routes 10, 28, 30, 51 85, 92, & 93 Detoured due to construction on University Ave Effective Monday, July 13, 2009

Beginning Monday, July 13th, University Avenue between West Ave and East Avenue will be closed. The University will be performing construction of the new Milstein Hall which will cause the road to be closed to all traffic. Routes 10, 28, 30, 51 85, 92, & 93 will be affected and detoured

Route 10 will use University to Stewart Ave to Thurston Ave to East Ave

Route 28 Traveling outbound to North Campus: From West Ave. turn left onto University Ave., right onto Stewart Ave., right onto Thurston Ave. and left onto Wait Ave., proceed on normal route.
Traveling inbound to Collegetown: From Wait Ave. turn right onto Thurston Ave., left onto Barton Pl., right onto Fall Creek Dr., left onto Stewart Ave., left onto University Ave. and right onto West Ave., left onto Campus Rd., right onto College Ave.

Weekend Route 30 will use East Ave to Thurston to Triphammer to Jessup both inbound and outbound. There will be no route 30 weekend service to West Campus.

Route 51 will use Stewart Ave to University Ave to West Ave to Campus Rd to East Ave to Tower Rd

Route 85 when traveling from North Campus to Collegetown: From University Ave. turn right onto West Ave., left onto Campus Rd. and right onto College Ave.

Route 92 when traveling from North Campus to Collegetown: From Dearborn Pl. turn right onto Thurston Ave., left onto Barton Pl., right onto Fall Creek Dr., left onto Stewart Ave., left onto University Ave. and right onto West Ave. left onto Campus Rd. and right onto College Ave.
Please note: Route 92 will NOT pass by the Risley Hall stop during this detour. This stop will be relocated to Wyckoff Ave. @ Thurston Ave.

Route 93 from West Campus to North Campus will use West Ave to University Ave to Stewart Ave to Thurston Ave and back on route.

Bus stop relocations are as follows:

Sibley Hall: Due to construction this bus stop is permanently closed effective July 13, 2009. Route 10 is relocated to Goldwin Smith Hall on East Avenue
Route 30 on weekends is relocated to Balch Hall when traveling towards North Campus and Risley Hall when traveling towards Collegetown
Route 51 is relocated to Uris Hall

Route 93 is relocated to Baker Flag Pole Slope Side on West Avenue

Boldt Hall Route 10 is relocated to the corner of University at Stewart Avenue
West Avenue - Due to construction on University Avenue Route 30 will no longer be stopping at West Campus
Route 30 Weekend Service - relocated to Statler Hall when traveling towards North Campus and to Sage Hall when traveling towards Downtown

Construction is expected to last for 2 years.

Looking for Rt. 28 in the new TCAT routing?

Rt. 28 was so successful that TCAT has expanded the East Hill to southwest shopping service to 7 days a week: Mon. through Fri. on Rts. 15/32, Sat. & Sun. on Rts. 15/72.

From East Hill, take the Rt. 32 or Rt. 72 down to the Commons. At the Commons, most Rt. 32/ 72 buses will change their overhead sign to Rt. 15 and continue directly to the southwest shopping area. No need to transfer buses! On your return trip, board a Rt. 15; most Rt. 15 trips will turn into a Rt. 32/ 72 at the Commons.

Certain Routes will no longer serve the stop at State @ Stewart (outbound towards Cornel)

Due to the difficulty and potential danger of pulling over to make the stop on State@Stewart and then getting back into the left turning lane, buses that turn left from State Street onto Stewart Ave. will no longer stop at the State@ Stewart Stop. Routes 20, 21, 31, 37, 40, 43, 52, 53PM trips, 65 and 67 WILL NOT STOP at State@ Stewart on their way outbound to Cornell. These routes can be caught on Stewart Ave. at the first staircase.

State @ Stewart (outbound) will continue to be served by routes 30, 32, 36, 51, 70, 72 & 90.

This change only affects buses headed up State Street outbound from the Commons. The State@ Stewart (inbound to Commons) stop will continue to be served by all of these buses.
